Deacon Selection Deadline: The deadline for submitting recommendations for new deacons is today, Sunday, January 11th. Paper forms are on the table in the auditorium. Both the man being recommended and the person making the recommendation need to sign the form before returning it to one of the elders.

 

Ladies Morning Bible Class will have a potluck lunch this Wednesday at 11am following 10am Bible study. Men are invited to attend the lunch.

 

L2L Parent Meeting: If your child is participating in L2L activities, please plan to attend next Sunday’s L2L parent meeting immediately after services in the Fellowship Room.

 

Help Needed: If you are able and interested in volunteering to pressurewash the building, please speak with Jonathan Penrod.

 

KEEP IN PRAYER

Barbara Stafford still awaits a liver transplant, but is also in need of heart surgery.

 

David Clements’ brother, Larry, is scheduled for surgery in January for his renal cell carcinoma.

 

Joel Gray has been undergoing treatments for squamous cell carcinoma on his neck. He will follow up with scans in January.

 

Mark Clements had back surgery on Jan. 8th, which went well. The family thanks everyone for the prayers on his behalf.

 

Tammy Necessary’s step-mom, Maragrete Mayberry, fell and has a hip fracture. She will not need surgery, but will need therapy. Please keep this family in your prayers.

 

Please pray for those with continued health problems including: Lovell Davis, Gail Jenkins, Joel Gray, Gil & Sue Myatt, & Sue Simmons.
