KEEP IN PRAYER

David Stafford (husband of Barbara) has been diagnosed with cancer in his small intestine and potentially his liver. He is scheduled for additional scans on October 15. Additionally, Barbara will be traveling to Houston from November 11–13 for follow-up doctor appointments regarding heart concerns. Please lift up the entire Stafford family in prayer during this time.

Judy DeMoss is currently dealing with multiple health issues. She can not receive visits or talk on the phone at this time as it brings on severe coughing flares.

Cecily Story is home recovering.

Robinson, son of Braden and Chloë Quesinberry, remains at Children’s Hospital. The family asks that you keep them in your prayers.

Tim Jorgensen had surgery on Monday. He is recovering at home.

Glenview Food Pantry: The next Glenview Pantry service day is Oct. 8th. Contact Sean Ashberry if you are interested in helping.

Hat Making Workshop for Arkansas Children’s Hospital: Geneviene LeMay is hosting a hat-making gathering at her home on Oct. 8th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Whether you want to learn how to craft hats using looms or share your existing skills, all are welcome to attend. Lunch will be served.

Cecily Story continues to stay at Baptist Springhill with diabetic issues. She is very sick and appreciates your prayers.

The parking lot is undergoing long-needed repairs and resurfacing. This is about a two week process and is not supposed to interfere with scheduled meeting times. However, if you come to the building during the week, you may find portions obstructed by equipment and fresh work. We will keep the church informed on progress and changes.

SomersKids’ Cards & Cars (September 20): All SomersKids and their families are invited to join us in the AC following services today, Sunday, September 20th from about noon to 2pm for a potluck lunch. Afterwards, children can enjoy free play time in the parking lot (weather permitting), followed by writing encouragement cards to our sick and homebound church members. Families are asked to bring a dish or two to share, along with bikes, trikes, or other ride-on toys. Please be sure to bring helmets. Contact Caroline Prestridge with questions.

Meeting Reminder: There will be an elders-deacons meeting today, Sunday, September 20th, in the AC starting at 2:30pm.

Ladies Chat will meet this Friday, September 25th from 10 to noon in the Fellowship Room.

Children’s Homes Inc. Drive (Coin Banks & School Supplies): TODAY is your absolute last opportunity to turn in filled coin banks and school supplies! Micah Brinkley will be with us in person this morning to pick everything up for Children’s Homes Inc. He is also our guest speaker today. We are thrilled to announce that we collected an amazing total of 227 items for the school supply drive and over 30 coin banks!

Please bring your filled coin banks and any remaining school supplies to the stage this morning. Let's finish strong and make a wonderful impact!
