WEEKLY NEWS & NOTES

L2L Parent Meeting: If your child is participating in L2L activities, please plan to attend next Sunday’s L2L parent meeting immediately after services in the Fellowship Room.

Help Needed: If you are able and interested in volunteering to pressurewash the building, please speak with Jonathan Penrod.

If you are interested in teaching adult Bible classes on Wednesday nights, please speak with Chris Vanwinkle.

If you are a children’s Bible class teacher and you have not responded to the teacher sign up email sent out last week, please respond today. See Caroline Prestridge if you have any questions.

The elders would like you to know they have met with Zach Douglas and Payton Cole, after receiving recommendations from the congregation, and would like to put both before you for consideration in serving as deacons at Somers Avenue. Please reach out to the elders in writing if there are any scriptural objections to either of these men as they need to know who has the objection in order to follow up. With no objection we will officially recognize these men on Sunday, January 25th.

Mark your calendars for a wedding shower for Anna Snyder and Austin Holley on Sunday, April 19th at the home of Allyson Penrod from 1:30-3:00 pm. They are registered at http://www.zola.com/addr/dVJP3jOeB
