Hats and blankets for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital are due today, Sunday, November 16th. Please put items in a labeled bag with the following information: your name, number of items and “ACH”. Bags can be given to Linetta McDonald.

Ladies, we will have a “Friendsmas” celebration on Friday, November 21st here at the building. All ladies of every age are encouraged to attend. We’ll have food, a gift exchange, and games. More details to follow.

Judy Huckeba plans to start up the Care Basket Program again in 2026. This ministry focuses on sending cheer and encouragement to the sick and homebound in the congregation through cards and small gift boxes full of items like notepads and pens, small candies, travel size toiletries, and snacks. If you would like to donate some of these items, please give them to Judy or bring them to the Ladies Friendsmas Celebration on Friday, November 21st.

Please save the date for our annual Crazy Card Party on Saturday, December 13th at 6:00pm. This is for adults only. Get ready for a fun evening of games, food, and fellowship. More details to come!

Glenview Food Boxes: This year's Glenview Elementary food boxes are designed to address ongoing family food insecurity. Each box costs about $50 at Walmart. A list of needed items was shared last week via email and FB. Our goal is 40 boxes. Bring items to the stage before December 14th. You can also donate money for gift cards, which families can use for perishable items (milk, meat, bread). Contribute via cash, a check to Somers, or the app (select 'Glenview').

KEEP IN PRAYER

Ima Jean Robinson is home following treatments last week at Springhill Hospital.

Kayla Thomas will have surgery on Wednesday, November 19th at Baptist Springhill and will be in the hospital several days. Kayla and her husband, Decarlo, request prayers for a successful procedure and speedy recovery.

Mary Daniel has received a diagnosis of inoperable Hepatocellular Carcinoma (liver cancer). A procedure performed this week was successful. The next step in her treatment is an embolization to mitigate the risk of hemorrhage from large blood vessels within the mass. She is also being evaluated for possible immunotherapy in mid-November and will consult with palliative medicine to explore additional options. Mary would appreciate telephone calls and masked in-person visits; however, please confirm her availability in advance due to her compromised immunity. Your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

Mary Hughes will begin treatment for kidney disease soon, which will include weekly infusions for 4 weeks.

Tim Jorgensen had an MRI on Wednesday and is waiting to get the results.

Many of our teens and adult chaperones are on their way home from the Get Lost Retreat. Please pray from their safe travels and growing faith.

Please pray for those with continued health problems including: Lovell Davis, Gail Jenkins, Joel Gray, Gil & Sue Myatt, Ima Jean Robinson, & Sue Simmons.
