Our annual Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-off will be on Saturday, Nov. 1st this year. This is a fun evening activity for all ages. Additional Elders: The elders have asked the church to actively and prayerfully consider additional men to serve the Somers congregation as elders. There are elder recommendation forms available on the back table in the auditorium. Praise: Jasper Price was baptized Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025 at the building. Praise God! Welcome to the Somers Family, Jasper!

 

Ima Jean Robinson fell and fractured her shoulder. Surgery isn’t an option, so she is healing in a sling. She is still dealing with a lot of pain.

 

We extend our sympathy to Marsha Ellis in the death of her husband, Joe Ellis, who passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon surrounded by his family. Arrangements are pending at this time. Please keep Marsha and the family in your prayers.

 

Mary Daniel has been released from UAMS but she is still very sick. She will receive daily in-home care for an extended period of time.

 

Mary Hughes will begin treatment for kidney disease soon, which will include weekly transfusions for 4 weeks.

 

Please pray for those with continued health problems including: Lovell Davis, Gail Jenkins, Joel Gray, Gil & Sue Myatt, Ima Jean Robinson, & Sue Simmons.
